Empowerment of Rural Families affected by Floods

District Thatta head quarter and its cities of Sujawal, Mirpur Bithoro, daro & Tando Hafiz Shah, Jhirk towns near River Indus area hits by floods Aug 27, 2010

The floods hit Thatta city head quarter and nearby Tehsils and about 162,000 people displaced from their houses, every where in Lower Sindh IDPs and no way to settle displace people, Now the situation is more danger and Govt. facilities insufficient to cover large no. of IDPs and NGOs facing difficult to give food, shelter and medicine

We at AHD looking this project quick support to cover 6,000 household withy one month sufficient food, medical and hygiene items that some 6,000 can live outside home respectfully through support of Global Giving project.

Looking your favorable response as Lower Sindh IDPs in danger position and if not supported on time many of them become sick and reached at danger level.

GOD help us all to support IDPs on time I have nothing word to say but hope GOD help us

Fresh floods in Sindh results 350 villages under water and many more expected, the AHD team also helps in rescue women and children from the deep flood areas Tnado Hafiz Shah, Jhirk and Sujawal. Please find attached recent snaps of the floods hit large areas of Thatta and Hyderabad. This repoet is present to share the exact situation and at present more the 20,000 families in need quick support we at AHD only propose and plan to support 1,000 families need immediate help of FOOD, MEDICINE, SAFE DRINKING WATER, KITCHEN UTENSILS & LIFE SAVING DRUGS

AHD team helped people to shift safe places and women staff also helped to rescue some women, who do not want to come out from their houses. You can see the snaps of Miss Sajida Channa and Mrs. Shazia Saleem during rescue of women and children the project will provide quick support for 15 days to one month package to 6,000 households on urgent basis we also looking your quick response. Pakistan's other provinces flood water goes down but now all flood water come to Lower Sindh and we need quick support to help poor villagers

Support this project to support flood victims and provide them assistance on urgent basis AHD is working in area and survey the situation becoming more danger in next some days as flood water increasing in Lower Sindh ....May GOD save all of us
