To alleviate the hardship of war, the Gift of the Givers continues its humanitarian assistance in Palestine.
Hunger Alleviation
Our team implemented multiple Ramadan projects to support disadvantaged communities facing ongoing economic hardship. Through the distribution of food parcels, iftar meals, and food vouchers, vulnerable families were able to meet their daily food needs during the holy month. Gift of the Givers also distributed baby milk to displaced households to support infants and young children. Our three Charity Markets in Gaza continue to provide essential food items to families in need, expanding the number of beneficiaries across the north, middle, and central areas.
Education
Our education classrooms continue to provide a safe and structured learning environment for Palestinian students in Gaza who were cut off from school for months. Run by a team of 15 staff members, the initiative supports 200 students through education, health assistance, and psychosocial support, helping restore stability and continuity in their learning despite the ongoing crisis.
Additionally, The Oasis of Comfort programme in Palestine, supported by Gift of the Givers, provides psychological support to children affected by war. During Ramadan, staff guide children through Qur’an recitation and lessons on patience to help them manage their emotions and cope with difficult experiences. These sessions create a supportive space that helps children begin to heal from trauma.
Healthcare
Our medical stations located near displacement camps continue to provide essential healthcare to injured and displaced families who have no access to clinics, hospitals, or life-saving medication. By positioning care directly within affected communities, we ensure timely treatment for those who would otherwise go without assistance. Through structured wound management, the distribution of essential medicines, and consistent on-site medical support, our teams address urgent health needs while helping patients stabilise in extremely challenging conditions.
Human Development
Our team distributed Eid clothing to displaced families in Gaza, ensuring that children and their families can experience the joy and dignity of the occasion. We have successfully delivered another aid truck carrying hygiene kits from Egypt into Gaza, as part of our ongoing humanitarian response to support displaced and affected families.
