Palestine Emergency Relief

Despite the on-going genocide in Gaza, the Gift of the Givers continues its life-saving humanitarian work.

Hunger Alleviation:

* Flour distribution continues regularly to displaced families across Gaza.

* Our team continues to distribute freshly baked bread to displaced families in Gaza.

* Our team continues to support food-insecure families in Gaza by providing them with cooking ovens designed and built in-house to help them prepare traditional meals.

* In an urgent effort to combat hunger, our team has partnered with local fishermen to source and deliver fresh fish from Gaza’s sea to displaced families facing extreme food insecurity.

* We are sourcing and distributing locally grown vegetables to an increasing number of displaced families in Gaza each day.

Water Provision:

* Our team continues to provide clean drinking water to families living in displacement camps, where access to basic necessities is severely limited.

Healthcare:

* We continue to support the injured by facilitating access to treatment and arranging surgeries to help them recover and regain functionality.

Social Upliftment:

* Our “Oasis of Comfort” project provides educational and psychosocial support to young children affected by the trauma of war. Recently, our team conducted health check-ups for students at Wahat Al-Mutama’nin School to monitor their well-being and address any medical needs.

* In Gaza, many elderly people endure displacement, severe living conditions and the daily struggle to secure basic necessities. To offer some relief, our team recently distributed new clothing and walking sticks.
