Through the Panabus Program we provide necessary attention to 2,400 homeless people a year, dignifying them as human beings and promoting their social reintegration. We make this possible through especially equipped transportation units, and a specialized team that provides to each individual fundamental primary services such as shower, wc, handbasin, clean cloth, haircut, healthcare, nutrition and supports them through their rehab process towards their social reintegration and family union.
During the last decade, worldwide homeless population has increased dramatically, due to different factors. Venezuela is not the exception, with an increment in proportions never seen before. This vulnerable population has no access to fundamental basic services, such as: bathroom, haircut, healthcare, food or shelter, a situation which puts their lives at risk.
We have the conviction to make a change and impact positively the lives of homeless people of the streets of Caracas. Our challenge is to dignify 2,400 homeless/year, providing them fundamental services, and promoting their social reintegration and family union. We will pursue this goal by developing a fleet of customized buses for integral homeless attention, and working with the support of a network of strategic allies for this cause.
