During school holidays, SFM Clichy organizes outings with the children to enrich the work they do in the workshops and give them an opportunity to discover new things.
Last holidays, in May, the children participating to our “Emotions” workshop enjoyed an outing to the Theatre. At the Oberkampf Comedy they attended the play “Les emotions du magicien” (The magician’s emotions).
They discovered how the different characters identified their feelings, how they sorted between their anger, sadness, fear, joy,… They even learned about a whole new emotion… serenity!
A very beautiful staging of the feelings that we have been working on since September in our workshop. The children were very participative, and some were even lucky enough to go on stage! After the show, they were also able to meet with the Magician and discuss with him.
For most of them, it was their very first experience with the theatre. They were amazed by the live performance and the interaction between the public and the actors. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Children's words:
"It's the first time I've seen a play, I really liked it, I'd like to see more! »
"It's better than the movies because we see the characters in real life! »
“I had a lot of fun and I liked it because I recognized all the emotions! »
“It felt so good to be able to shout our emotions! »
