Thankfully, we recieved a recernt re´port that the rains have begun in Kenya and everyone is so happy. Truly our community of Massai partiocipanmts believe that plantying all the trees and caring for them with the increased shade and coolness, is helping their villages receive more rainfall and actually recharge their water reservoirs. They already see a little water in a local stream that used to be totalñly burning under the sun. Now the trees are getting bigger and actual shade slows the evo transpiration. In addition, they have witness more birds and aniamls running around as well as healthier livestock given the cooler feeling around the village.
We are proud of our work with these communities and evern while we are not receving much financial support for this project, we remain in touch and hold space for our farming families tyo keep the tree planting motivation and follow up care with enthusiasm.
Thank you for your support !
