Kenya collaboration
Our project in Kenya is so special that it attracted the attention of the Minister of Environment to reach out to our Project leader for information and inspiration to help other small communities to build tree nurseries, collect seeds and reforestr their waters and lands!! We are thrilled. We never know what our small actions are going to produce out in the world. The positive consequences of getting into action can be so huge.
Everytime we support our tree communities to plant and care for trees long term, we see the multiplication of positive benefits. Thank you for your ongoing support for growing these trees and looking for our next opportunity to replicate to a new community in Kenya.

We are hoping to plant more trees this coming rainy season in Kenya. We are gathering funds to be able to buy approximately 300 avocado and mango trees and plant them near neighboring communities to Enkutoto Nahalala. Dalmas and the families are experienced and ready to expand to neighboring communties step by step. In addition, the community continues to maintain the tyrees we have already planted making sure that the cows and sheep graze in rotational forms and stay away from zones where trees are still s0omewhat small.
The rotational grazing practices that accompany these planting projects have proven quite successful thus we are keen to expand wioth the help´of our sponsors.
We are also considering to form a eco tourism tree planting trip perhaps in 2028.

Thankfully, we recieved a recernt re´port that the rains have begun in Kenya and everyone is so happy. Truly our community of Massai partiocipanmts believe that plantying all the trees and caring for them with the increased shade and coolness, is helping their villages receive more rainfall and actually recharge their water reservoirs. They already see a little water in a local stream that used to be totalñly burning under the sun. Now the trees are getting bigger and actual shade slows the evo transpiration. In addition, they have witness more birds and aniamls running around as well as healthier livestock given the cooler feeling around the village.
We are proud of our work with these communities and evern while we are not receving much financial support for this project, we remain in touch and hold space for our farming families tyo keep the tree planting motivation and follow up care with enthusiasm.
Thank you for your support !
