Peace Calendar promoting peace work and activities in country to be distributed to variety of actors.
Last echoes of the battlefields have been silenced in 1995. However, the peace in this country has been put to the test, more than ever before. Peace is threatened due to post-war political system, where borders and differences among people of different ethnicity, religion and race are exploited for nefarious reasons to the maximum. Now, the main course of actions is to preserve the peace, and all responsible individuals and organisations are doing what they can.
Securing funds for printing of Peace Calendar is the only challenge. Through open competition photos will be selected. Content design, layout, and graphics have been organized, all on voluntary basis. Distribution network is established and beneficiary stakeholders, to which this free of charge calendars will be sent, are identified. Printing the calendar is a token, yet, very significant instrument to promote peace. Securing funds for printing will ensure that that this project is implemented.
More than 1000 schools will receive the calendars, plus institutions, civil society organizations, who will on daily base see the pictures and messages promoted and presented on the calendar. Wall calendars are used as date references and scheduling tools 365 days per year, which means they have the potential to share positive story behind it. Custom calendars with emphasize peace messages and pictures will spotlight and promote peace with every picture and messages putted for that month.
