On April 19, 2023, a meeting of the Peace School was held on the topic: "Diplomacy in the era of digitalization: the use of social networks in international relations"
Starting from September 2022, Kyiv is under constant shelling, the energy supply system was damaged. Air disturbances and instability with electricity prevented regular meetings at the Peace School. But the participants did not stop their activity, collected humanitarian aid for civilians in the de-occupied territories and accumulated ideas for future meetings.
Thanks to international support, city services repaired the electric power network, the country provides protection from the sky, and meetings have resumed online.
Kateryna, a graduate of the Peace School of the past years, a youth ambassador of peace, a student of the National Aviation Institute, spoke about diplomacy in the era of digital technologies. The topic turned out to be interesting, since the participants were also from European countries, where they were evacuated together with their parents. They noted that they feel like "people's" diplomats, since they represent Ukraine and this requires a responsible attitude to their behavior.
