Peace Winds doctors, nurses, and disaster responders are on the ground in Venezuela supporting earthquake relief for survivors living in shelters and tent encampments after losing their homes. One team is operating a mobile clinic while another is distributing emergency relief supplies, including hygiene items and baby goods. Your donations help us get relief to survivors immediately and support long-term recovery from the June 2026 earthquakes in the weeks and months ahead.
The death toll continues to rise, and thousands of evacuees are living in makeshift tent encampments. Infrastructure has also suffered extensive damage, creating challenges for responders and a wide range of needs. Many areas do not have running water or hygiene facilities. Clinics and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed, and the healthcare system is strained. Thousands of injured survivors are seeking care at makeshift clinics, but many are unable to get treatment.
Peace Winds team members have extensive earthquake response experience, and they are working alongside local partners to deliver aid in accordance with the needs. Your support makes it possible for them to provide relief supplies as well as health care in hard-hit parts of both Caracas and La Guaira.
Your donations help us commit to flexible support as survivors' needs evolve, both immediately and in the long term. Our Caracas-based team will continue to deliver emergency relief in the month ahead. When the "emergency phase" ends, we continue to work with local partners to support long-term recovery. This often includes psychosocial care and community revitalization activities.
