Dear Friends of Fondwa and the APF Fondwa Clinic:
For the quarter April to June 2026, we saw 199 patients.
Breakdown by month:
The cases for the quarter included emergencies, gastritis, gastroenteritis, genital and urinary infections, diabetes, pruritic dermatoses, arterial hypertension, infant colic, acute respiratory infections, malnutrition, anemia, and seizure.
Six patients were referred for more specialized treatment, and 3 health education and awareness sessions were conducted on the following topics:
With your continued support, we continue to provide these health services to the region of Fondwa -- a community that would otherwise not have access to basic healthcare. The insecurity and extreme poverty in Haiti continues to rise, but here in the rural countryside, we have no other choice but to continue our work. You make this possible. We remain incredibly grateful.
