Dear friends,
The ongoing coronavirus crisis continues to have profound effects on our society: Schools are closed, business are shuttered, and unemployment numbers are rising. While it is easy to feel powerless in such an unprecedented situation, SMF has found some ways to support our children during this challenging time.
Since schools are closed nationwide, many children do not have access to the meals provided by the schools. Thanks to one of our dedicated School Directors in Misiones, Mr. Diego Carballo, we are able to help students and their families and making sure they have access to food while schools are closed.
Mr. Carballo receives funds from SMF and shops for food items that he personally delivers by traveling from village to village making sure that children and families receive what they need to sustain them in these difficult times.
We are only able to do this thanks to your generosity and commitment to the children. We thank you and encourage to continue supporting the children who need our help.
Stay safe and thanks for your continued support.
