Dear Friends: The end of the year has arrived, and by sharing with you the latest achievements through the Sumando Manos Foundation we want to seize the opportunity to thank everyone for your help in 2023. That means the donors, teachers, directors, and compassionate people who have collaborated throughout the year.

BEEKEEPING PROJECT IN MISIONES, ARGENTINA

The Beekeeping project consists of installing hives in communities and schools throughout the city of Misiones, providing training to teachers who will, in turn, transmit those skills to older students in their villages. The project also consists of building new hives for each location, a beekeeping specialist and all the necessary material to carry out the project.

It started with 5 villages: so far 3 hives have been installed in each Village: Caramelito, Chafariz, Ara Poty, Ygua Porá and Ytá Piru. (obtain honey for community consumption) and 20 hives to market the honey in order to make it sustainable in the future.

Sumando Manos helps by providing transport for the necessary material: wood for bases, boxes, and tools to install hives, transportation of beekeeping experts and trainers as well as personnel to perform in these difficult to access locations.

SCHOOLS

We have collaborated in sending donations and breakfast to our schools throughout the year. In the pictures below, we show you the joy of children receiving donations and celebrating the end of classes in Schools: 916 El Gramillar, Chaco – 130 Batalla de Salta – 1015 Pampa del Indio, Chaco, and Escuela Guillermo Donaire, El Soberbio, Misiones.

HELPING HANDS

We want to thank all the Foundations that work together with us to reach so many children in different parts of the country. Through them you can provide medical and dental assistance – Santa Clara: nutrition, and craft workshops – Pequeños Pasos: donations, snacks, education in Values, school support – Sai Organization and Camino a la Casita: Repairs, donations – Sumando Solidaridad.

Thank you very much for the support you always give us, without which we would not be able to carry out any of the projects we are developing.

July and August News

SUMANDO MANOS FOUNDATION’S NEWSLETTER

Dear friends, we want to share the activities we have focused on during July, August and September.

We celebrated Child's Day in schools and in the different centers around the country. They received donations and were able to celebrate with parties, meals and activities.

SAI FOUNDATION

With its constant assistance to the children focused on the teaching of Human Values, healthy and natural food, the services of these last months included the distribution of donations, school aid, dental check-up and celebration of the children's day.

PEQUENOS PASOS FOUNDATION

Celebrations, sports and a lot of work in nutrition and in the trade workshops held in the different centers of the country.

CAMINO A LA CASITA FOUNDATION – LA PLATA

Children's Day was celebrated with lots of toys and with the remodeling of the Educational Center completed with the collaboration of the Sumando Manos Foundation.

TERESA DONAIRE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN CHACO

With great joy we share with you photos of Teresa Donaire and Graciela Fandino's trip to the schools of Chaco, they visited 6 schools in the towns of Villa Berthet and Pampa del Indio, School 371 Villa Berthet held the inauguration of the Educational Farm with which children learn in relation to nature in a practical way while the farm is self-sufficient by its own production.

During our visit we were able to observe the tireless and dedicated work of all the teachers and principals of these schools, who care about the welfare of their students and the school itself. We were happy to see all that they do with the help we give them and the love they show for their communities.

SPECIAL APPRECIATION

To our dear teachers who with their tireless work and assistance are part of the children's lives every day, fulfilling many roles, not only that of educators.

SAD NEWS

It is with sadness that we bid farewell to Claudio Sanchez of Fundacion Santa Clara who passed away on September 4th. Claudio has worked constantly and compassionately for the good of children and communities in rural areas in conjunction with our foundation. A great loss.

Thank you very much for the support you always give us, without which we would not be able to carry out any of the projects we are developing.

Starting of Winter

Dear friends. Winter has started and we'd like to share the activities we have focused on the last few months.

The following schools in different zones in Argentina have received the school supplies. In Chaco and Misiones, food has been purchased so that our kids can start strongly during this first stage.

NEWS OF OUR SUMANDO MANOS COLLABORATORS

SAI ORGANIZATION

They delivered food donations to the centers being helped in Misiones: Hogar San Francisco (las Mamitas for teen moms). Escuela 166 en Santa Ana, Comunicad Guaraní en San Ignacio y Asociación kids with Cancer.

PEQUENOS PASOS FOUNDATION

Before the school period started, in Misiones we delivered school supplies to El Soberbio and desks for the school in El progreso. We also continued with regular monthly nutrition work operations in each of the Sumando Manos centers.

SANTA CLARA

Organized their trip to Misiones with 2 dentists and a pediatrician visiting our schools in: Paraje El Botón, Aldeas Jeji, Yciapy, Pindo Poty y Colonia Pepiri.

On top of the medical assistance in each school; they delivered food, clothes for kids and adults, sneakers, shoes, school supplies and instructions manuals for the teachers

We wanted to seize the opportunity to thank you personally once again for the support you always provide, without which, we could not carry out any of the projects that we are developing. You’re a key part of our foundation!
