Project Report | Jan 19, 2023
End of the year report

By Alejandro Itkin | Board Member

Thanks to your collaboration, the year 2022 was INCREDIBLE. We continued supporting several projects. Here’s the compilation of what we’ve done since the summer.

Trips to Chaco and Catamarca were completed. Dental care and medical assistance were provided to the students, they delivered to each school: food, toothpaste, medicine, school supplies, elements of physical activities and entertainment, and they were given candy bags and t-shirts.

A party was held at each location and the members of Santa Clara lovingly cooked lunch and snacks for each school.

  1. Chaco: The trip to Chaco took place from August 22 to 25, they visited the following schools: 616,  676, 734 and 589. At this time they determined that there is a real need to build a classroom with a bathroom to accommodate Kindergarten students in School Anexo Lote  4.
  2. Catamarca: The trip took place from October 9 to 15, they visited the following schools: 169, 305, 479, 489, 311, 435, and 429.

Different activities were carried out during which workshops on these different skills – circus, clay, sports, bakery and pastry, hairdressing, and sewing for mothers. Clothes, bags of food, and toys were distributed. Besides offering breakfast and snacks they also provided powdered milk, rice, sugar, cocoa, alfajores, and cookies. Cleaning elements were also distributed in the different assistance centers where the Organization provides help: Florencio Varela in Buenos Aires, Los Sauces in Córdoba, Las Talitas in Tucumán, Merendero Belén in Salta, Guaraní Community in Misiones, Noccan Kani in Santa Fe.

 SOUP KITCHENS

Throughout the different centers of the Foundation bags with nutritional food and balanced meals are distributed monthly to support the nutritional needs of young children. The centers are the following : Loma Hermosa in San Martín,  Valle de Andorra in Ushuaia and  El Soberbio in Misiones.

Different workshops  to teach different skills were held, and various artistic activities were planned using different techniques and materials (temperas, watercolors, markers, colored paper, etc.). The objective of these activities is always to help the children to express their emotions through art.

As always, thank you very much for the support you always give us, without which we could not carry out any of the projects we are working on.
