Safe Drinking Water in Remote areas in Argentina / Agua Potable en Areas Remotas en Argentina

By Guillermo Donaire | President

Dear Friends,

We have implemented successfully the first safe drinking water project  in school Nº 239 “PEDRO INCHAUSPE”, in Pampa del Indio, Chaco.(pictures enclosed).

A 2100 cubic feet tank was installed with its respective pumps and pipes, providing drinking water to enable the children to have drinking and cooking water and even to irrigate a new small farm.

Contaminated water and lack of drinkable water are recurring problems in the schools of Chaco, impeding the healthy development of the children. Schools located in remote areas serves as a great contention for the kids, especially because attendance to class ensures them to receive their daily meal. In many instances children live so far away, they have to walk miles to attend school, even sleeping several nights a week in the classroom.

School Nº 239 “PEDRO INCHAUSPE”, at Pampa del Indio is also part of the “Breakfast for a child” program and this water installation allows us to further improve their quality of life.

Thank you very much for helping with donations and for trusting us to be the liaison between the children and yourselves.

Queridos Amigos,

Atentamente
