Educating the next generation of Malians about sexual and reproductive health continues to be essential in Mali. Education on sexual and reproductive health is rarely discussed in formal school settings and thus programs that focus on these topics and teach teens how to protect themselves are greatly needed.
This inspired GAIA Vaccine Foundation to start the Teen Peer Education program. Led by Socrates, the program has become a staple in the community and teens join twice per week for lively, interactive sessions.
In April 2022, 80 teens attended the program, 55 of which were girls.
Please support GAIA Vaccine Foundation to help us continue educting teens, who will become the next leaders in the Sikoro community.
Thank you for your support to GAIA Vaccine Foundation!
