Ramadan Call to Action: Plant Trees, Grow Blessings

By Misbachul Munir | Project Staff

Ramadan is not only a time for learning and reflection—it is also a time for good deeds that bring lasting impact.

Through our Plant 100,000 Trees in Indonesia Forest initiative, we invite you to turn the spirit of Ramadan into concrete action by supporting community-based tree planting and forest restoration.

Planting trees is a form of sadaqah jariyah—a continuous charity:

  • Trees protect water sources and soil

  • Trees absorb carbon and cool the climate

  • Trees support livelihoods and food security for rural communities

  • Trees leave a legacy that benefits generations to come

By supporting this initiative, you are not only helping restore forests—you are also supporting the children and communities who depend on healthy ecosystems for their future.

This Ramadan, let your kindness take root.

Together, we can grow forests, protect the earth, and pass on a greener future to the next generation.
