Forests survive when the people who live closest to them become their strongest guardians.
Through the Plant 1,000,000 Trees in Indonesia Forest project, we work hand-in-hand with local communities to restore degraded forests and protect them for the long term. This initiative recognizes a simple truth: lasting conservation only happens when communities are part of the solution.
By supporting community-managed nurseries, tree planting, and ongoing forest monitoring, this project ensures that trees are not only planted—but also cared for, protected, and sustained. Communities gain ownership, skills, and livelihoods, while forests regain their ecological function.
Your support helps to:
Empower local communities as forest stewards
Restore degraded forest and buffer zones
Protect water sources, soil, and biodiversity
Build long-term conservation through shared responsibility
When communities thrive, forests thrive.
