Donate to Plant Trees Today

By Misbachul Munir | Project Staff

Indonesia is currently at a critical environmental turning point. In 2024 alone, more than 261,000 hectares of forest disappeared—an area nearly four times the size of Singapore lost in just one year. Over the past decade, Indonesia has lost 4.5 million hectares of primary rainforest, equivalent to 11% of its most vital natural ecosystems. This massive loss is not just a statistic; it has led directly to more frequent flash floods, devastating landslides, and the loss of clean water sources for millions of people.

As the “Lungs of the World,” Indonesia’s forests play a crucial role not only for our nation, but for the global climate. Yet today, these forests are under immense pressure. When forests disappear, biodiversity declines, carbon emissions rise, and communities living closest to these ecosystems become the most vulnerable to climate-related disasters.

By donating to plant a tree today, you are taking direct action against this environmental crisis. Your contribution helps restore degraded forest lands, protect the unique biodiversity of regions such as Kalimantan and Papua, and support local communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. Tree planting is not just about restoring nature—it is about building long-term resilience for both people and the planet.

Plant Hope Today—Restore Indonesia’s Forests.
Join us in rebuilding Indonesia’s forests and securing a sustainable future for generations to come.
