We are thrilled to share the progress of our ambitious reforestation initiative in Keur Mandango. With your generous support, we are working towards planting 50,000 trees to combat desertification, enhance soil quality, and provide essential resources such as food and fuel. In Keur Mandango, the 2025 reforestation effort is progressing well. Thanks to your generous support, Keur Mandango is embarking on a transformative reforestation campaign with CREATE! A strong nursery is now ready to plant trees throughout the village. These trees will soon offer shade, help prevent soil erosion, improve the land, and produce fruit, supporting a healthier and more sustainable environment for both the community and future generations. One beneficiary shared:
“With the tree nursery, we will soon plant trees that, I am sure, will transform our environment with more shade and fruit. Everything we are building now is for a better future for our children because they will be able to continue the project for themselves.”
Thanks to your generous support, Keur Mandango has started the exciting reforestation initiative in partnership with CREATE! Our new tree nursery, featuring varieties in our village, is almost ready for planting.
