Dear Friends,
I am quite excited to share with you that RWAYDAVO is on its way to plant 20,000 trees in the Buyoga area of Rulindo as part of our environment and livelihood program, and we are anticipating to start the planting of saplings to happen by the end of December 2021.
Before planting, we need to prepare the land by cleaning it and getting it ready. This activity needs funding, and RWAYDAVO is in need of US$5,000 for preparing the 5 locations identified for planting.
RWAYDAVO is raising funds for this purpose at the renowned crowdfunding platform GlobalGiving. Currently there is a matching campaign happening at GlobalGiving wherein if you start a new monthly recurring donation and sustain it for 4 months, GlobalGiving will match one of the monthly instalments by 200%! That’s right! If you start a recuring donation for say US$10, GlobalGiving will put in an additional $20, so the organization will get $30 for one of the instalments! This campaign is currently active, and ends on December 17, 2021, at 23:59:59 USA Eastern Time.
