Dear Patrons,
As part of our ongoing maintenance of Land Six, Rwanda (Google Plus Code: 724+CHC Mugambazi/Rulindo), we are moving into the crucial pruning phase. Pruning is the deliberate removal of specific parts of a plant—such as branches, buds, or roots—to improve its health, structure, and overall performance.
We are proud to share that this land currently holds a total of 28,500 eucalyptus trees, which are showing excellent growth and vitality. The trees are thriving, with healthy green foliage and strong trunks, thanks to your continued support and our dedicated care. (See attached photos for a visual update.)
Why Pruning Matters:
Health & Disease Prevention
It helps remove dead or diseased material, improving airflow and light penetration to reduce disease risk and aid healing.
Structural Improvement
Proper pruning promotes strong, well-balanced tree architecture and removes competing or weak branches that could break under stress.
Vigor & Productivity
By removing unwanted or over-dense growth, pruning redirects energy into healthy parts of the tree, supporting stronger growth and future resilience.
We will apply these principles in our tree care process, ensuring our eucalyptus trees continue to grow strong, healthy, and structurally sound.
Thank you for your continued support—your contributions make this vital maintenance possible.
Warm regards,
Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana
President, RWAYDAVO
