Alkhidmat’s Green Initiative: Plantation Drive at Ravi Bridge

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action. As part of our ongoing efforts, we recently organized a Plantation Drive at Ravi Bridge, where over 400+ dedicated volunteers from the University of Central Punjab and various other institutions across Lahore actively participated in this meaningful cause.

This initiative is not just about planting trees—it is about creating a healthier, greener future for our communities. The rising environmental challenges, including deforestation, pollution, and climate change, make such efforts crucial for future generations. With each tree planted, we contribute to cleaner air, enhanced biodiversity, and improved urban landscapes.

This year, Alkhidmat Foundation has set an ambitious goal to plant 1 million trees across Pakistan. By taking proactive steps in reforestation and afforestation, we aim to combat climate change, reduce carbon footprints, and promote sustainable living. Our efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land), reinforcing our dedication to global environmental responsibility.
