Respected Donor

The whole world is in panic of COVID-19 and do not know, what will be the condition of tomorrow. Even in its worst form of spreading, our staff and volunteers including our board members are now on the field awareness to cut the connections and maintain the social distancing by our communities, which includes our children, poor daily wage workers, migrant workers, elders Etc.

80% of TAMIL NADU population falls under informal sector workers. Of whom, 100% lost their wage work, wake up every morning with a thinking of what to do to feed their family without an earning. Now during this lockdowns, Government issued order to strictly wear masks whenever they come out of their houses with urgent food groceries purchases. At least twice a week, they need buy milk or essential items. Without a work and no money in hand, they are struggling to buy masks often. To help our communities, we started producing Re-usable cloth masks, which they can wash and wear. We have started our production, produced 2500 masks and ready to distribute to the poor.

Our community kitchens play a key role to stop the starvation and give confidence that there is someone to help them in critical COVID-19 crisis. With such provision, migrant workers, poor jobless workers children and elderly people are benefitted.

In this critical conditions, we feel unfair to ask for donation. Your own communities are also in struggle to get a helping hand. This is a global crisis, kindly help those who are in real need of your generous support.

Kindly visit our project if you still feel like to support. Link: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/help-informal-workers-covid-19-crisis/  .

Warm Regards,
