Project Report | Dec 10, 2024
Each one. plant one

By Dr. vincent paul | Director

Dear donor,

I would like to sincerely thank you all on behalf of the staff and on behalf of the plant a tree : save earth & lives program for your generous donations to CHHASE.

CHHASE NGO organised a tree planting event on 10th December, 2024. The main purpose was to complete the planting of 5000 saplings as a part of the Environmental education. The Village president was invited to be the chief guest of this event and to promote the importance of planting trees. The students of different classes were given 200 saplings to plant in and around the school campus, and the remaining saplings were planted by the senior students in the local areas around the school.

After planting saplings, the president gave a speech on why planting trees can prove to be beneficial for the environment. His speech included subjects like how human beings get ample oxygen because of trees and how cutting down trees mercilessly has impacted the environment adversely. He also talked about how planting trees helps to regulate the temperature and absorb all the carbon dioxide from the air. President talked about how planting trees helps to make the surroundings greener and how trees serve as homes to many birds and animals. He also suggested that every student should at least plant one tree per year as it will help the world to fight against global warming.

In this thanks giving letter we would like to share some of the most important events with you about the program you have supported.CHHASE has planted 1,90,000+ plants through our program. CHHASE has created a strong volunteer team. Our volunteers are creating awareness on global warming to their neighboring villages and farm owners and stress them to plant trees for the sake of reducing global warming.

We are now experiencing the effects of global warming: Tsunami’s. Floods, cyclones and earth quakes often. It is a sign of deforestation, which we have created for our benefit. But nature shows its effects by way natural calamities to compensate the sudden change. Deforestation was done by us and a forestation also to be done by us to save the earth and lives.

CHHASE request you to kindly plant a tree at your home and advice your friends and neighbors to plant.

Let us provide a safe place to livefor our children and to our grand children.

Please consider telling your friends and family about our project - share the link on your blogs or social networks, use the tell-a-friend feature on the project page to email your network, or just bring us up in conversation.
