As summer winds down, we are looking towards our next event related to community orcharding in the UK.
We have been offered to host a workshop at a well-respected sustainable farming conference this winter on the topic of rooting community orchards in place.
We will be presenting on both the technical and community-related aspects of creating a successful community orchard - one that is based within and reflects the community where it grows.
We are looking for speakers from the UK who may be interested in attending or presenting at the workshop and who have experience participating in or caretaking community orchards. We are also looking for folks who would like to share a brief 1-3 minute video answering prompts related to their experiences of community orchards. If you are interested in either, or would simply like to be notified with details of the workshop once confirmed, please send an email to lizzy@ftpf.org.
