Dear friends,
Thanks to your support, we have been able to support and expand community orchards in England over the past several years.
Most notably, the walnut grove planted during our first planting in England at Racehill Community Orchard is growing well, with the trees establishing themselves amongst the 200+ others in this community food-growing space on the outskirts of Brighton. We will be keeping an eye on them, working alongside and supporting the community orchard caretakers who ensure their long-term survival and contribution to neighborhood well-being.
While these walnut and other trees continue to grow, we have decided for now to pause our fundraising here in order to focus on our work in the United States, Latin America, and East Africa.
We plan to return to England to plant more trees in the coming years. In the meantime, please consider supporting our work around the world to bring the myriad community benefits of food-producing trees to those who need them!
To a fruit-filled summer,
The FTPF Team
