Emergency Bread for Gaza, Syria, Turkey & Sudan

Amid the harsh humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in the camps of northern Syria near Aleppo, and by the grace of Allah and the support of generous donors, we provided bread assistance to the child Ahmad and his family in an effort to ease part of their daily suffering caused by poverty, displacement, and the lack of basic resources.

Ahmad is a child who carries a simple dream like many children his age — he hoped to continue his education and return to school, but the difficult financial conditions faced by his family forced him to leave his studies because they could no longer afford even the most basic necessities of life.

Ahmad lives with his family inside one of the camps that lack the simplest essentials for a dignified life, where obtaining daily bread and food has become a constant struggle for displaced families exhausted by years of war and displacement.

Despite all these hardships, Ahmad still holds on to hope and dreams of a better future — a day when he can return to his notebooks, books, and classroom, far away from the life of tents and deprivation.

Providing bread and essential aid to these families does not only relieve hunger and hardship, but also gives children the feeling that they are not forgotten, and that someone still cares for them and stands beside them during these painful times.
