Sept 19, 2023 BOOST MENTAL HEALTH FOR 3MIL KIDS IN 180 COUNTRIES
We’re partnering with more organizations to help amplify POP-UP Festival activities. Over the past several months we have been reaching out to NGOs, community groups and schools to spread awareness about the POP-UP Festival so more children and families can participate.
One of our newest partners is Greater Good Science Center. Out of University of California Berkeley, GGSC does excellent reserach and publications for teachers, schools and communities on topics of SEL, Mindfulness, and Awe.
This year we will be holding two special events on World Children’s Day, November 20, 2023. First we will host a livestream event on Youtube to shine a spotlight on local POP-UP events from around the world. We want POP-UP hosts to submit pictures and videos of their events so we can feature them on the livestream.
Second, we are going to NYC UNICEF headquarters! We are having a live POP-UP Festival in the lobby of the UNICEF offices and welcoming UNICEF staff and families to participate in the fun activities. We will share lots of photos and videos from the special event to raise awareness about our partnership with UNICEF World Children's Day team.
Lots of plans and logistics to sort out with volunteers and mentors. Did you know that we have free mentors to support hosts doing POP-UP Festival? If you would like to get matched with a mentor reach out to us!
