Update on the progress report on

By Samuel Akaraonye | Founder/CEO

This quarter, your generosity helped us bring hope, food, and essential relief to disaster-affected families across South East Nigeria. At a time when hunger, displacement, and economic hardship continue to threaten the most vulnerable, your support has remained a lifeline.

What We Achieved This Quarter

Delivered emergency food assistance to vulnerable households, reaching over 870 beneficiaries.
Provided relief supplies such as blankets, mats, sanitary kits, and mosquito nets to displaced families.
Supported elderly persons and widows with personalized care items.
Strengthened volunteers in nutrition advocacy and emergency response.
Introduced our nutrition-driven advocacy theme: “Help Us Turn Food Into Medicine for the Poor in Nigeria.”

Financial Update

This quarter, we received $350 from the Social Enterprise arm of the Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation to support our emergency response.
How the Funds Were Used:
Purchase of nutrient-dense food items (grains, cereals, legumes): $180
Procurement of relief materials (blankets, sanitary pads, mats, mosquito nets): $110
Logistics & local transportation for outreach activities: $55
Balance: $5, which will be rolled into our next distribution cycle.

Thank you for trusting us to use your resources wisely and transparently.

Our New Vision: Samony Wellness Cafeteria
We introduced the vision to establish the SAMONY Wellness Cafeteria, a food bank dedicated to feeding people with chronic illnesses using healing, nutrient-dense foods.

We believe strongly that every meal can heal.
A Personal Milestone, A Bigger Mission
As I mark my 50th birthday, my mission is to feed 1,000 households and lay the foundation for the Samony Wellness Cafeteria.

This celebration is not about a party — it is about purpose.

GivingTuesday Appeal – December 2
We invite you to stand with us this GivingTuesday.

A season of hope is here again.
Let’s feed, heal, and uplift the poor in Nigeria.
One meal can heal. One donation can save a life.
Be the miracle someone is praying for.
December Plans
With your support, we hope to:
Feed 1,000 households across vulnerable communities.
Kickstart the Samony Wellness Cafeteria (Food Bank).
Provide medical-friendly food packs for people with chronic illnesses.

Carry out a Christmas Relief Outreach for widows, elderly persons, and displaced families.
Expand our community campaign: “Food as Medicine.”

Thank You
We deeply appreciate every donor, partner, and supporter.
Your kindness sustains hope and keeps families alive.

With your ongoing support, we can build a future where food becomes medicine and no one is left behind.

Warm regards

Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation
