Summary

People in 24 districts are facing a serious level of hunger in Malawi due to droughts and sometimes continuance rains in other areas that causes flooding of water that destroys food crops. Although the Southern region is suffering Drought spell, Hence heavy raining in the central region has forced water flooding especially areas along rivers, Many houses has fallen down while the remaining houses are fully covered with water.

Challenge

Continuance Heavy raining in the area caused areas along the river experience heavy running water flooding that caused a big damages of crops, soil, houses and people's lives. While many districts faces drought spells that destroys food crops in the area

Solution

This project will be rescuing victims and other materials moved away by running water while providing safe drinking water and food to the survivors of this flooding Over 680 houses were destroyed by flooding water.

Long-Term Impact

The project will at the end establish the construction of the contours along the riverbanks will be protect running water in the river never flows to people's staying land area. This construction of the contours will again done surround compounds to avoid running water along the roads never turns to people's homes.
