Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Prevent Violence Against Women Through Volleyball project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned tournament and awareness activities have not yet begun.
Across many communities, violence against women and girls continues to affect safety, health, and daily life. Many cases remain unreported due to fear, stigma, and lack of safe platforms for discussion and support.
Without visible community engagement, harmful behaviors and attitudes continue. There are limited opportunities where both men and women can come together to learn, reflect, and promote respect and safety.
This project is designed to organize a volleyball tournament involving 12 teams, bringing together participants from different sectors. Alongside the games, awareness sessions will educate communities on preventing abuse and supporting women and girls.
By combining sports with education, the project aims to create a safe space for dialogue, build teamwork, and encourage positive behavior within communities.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this initiative can begin and reach those who need it most.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
