Introduction
Due to climate change, Africa is going through a severe drought and water crisis, which has a significant negative impact on the agricultural sector. Africa's main industry, agriculture, generates significant income for both domestic and private use as well as export. As a result, it becomes impossible to farm most of the area without water.
Report
Innovative farming techniques combine vermiculture, aquaponics, and tiny livestock to produce more with fewer resources. The method enables farming even during severe droughts because it only requires 10% of the water typically required for planting. By implementing this technique in classrooms, teachers can feed their children, use the crop as a practical teaching tool, or sell it to make money and become self-sufficient. We have already put in three systems, and we are soliciting money to put in a fourth.
