Dear Friends,
We are excited to share an update on our ongoing efforts to combat period poverty and support girls' menstrual health.
Recently, Project Soar joined Civil Connections at Ungdommens Folkemøde, Denmark's Youth Democratic Festival, bringing our fight against period poverty in Morocco to a whole new audience. Over several inspiring days in Copenhagen, we met Danish young people, students, and teachers who were eager to learn about our work and how they could be part of it.
We introduced them to two programs that sit at the heart of what we do:
We also presented Soar Your Way, our online training platform built on the Project Soar Empowerment Program, and joined the "Meet Grassroots Leaders from Abroad" panel. There, we shared what we've learned as grassroots leaders and talked with young people about the power they hold to create change in their own communities. Watching those conversations unfold was a powerful reminder that the movement to end period poverty transcends borders.
Our time in Copenhagen reinforced something we see every day in Morocco: ending period poverty takes more than products. It takes access to accurate information, and it takes open, honest conversation. Every discussion helps chip away at the stigma that too often keeps girls silent and helps build a future where no girl is held back because of her period.
Together, these efforts contribute to a broader movement toward a future where no girl is disadvantaged because of her period.
None of this would be possible without your commitment. Your support allows us to reach girls who are often overlooked and provide them with the resources and knowledge they need to thrive. Thank you for standing with us in building a world free from period poverty.
With Gratitude,
The Project Soar Team
