Preventing Teen Pregnancy

In the pursuit of fostering a safer and healthier community, Sarahuaro Preventing Teen Pregnancy remains committed to its mission of preventing teen pregnancy pregnancies and sexual abuse among impoverished women in Los Cabos, Mexico. As we approach the 2023-2024 school year, we are excited to announce our comprehensive plans that demonstrate our dedication to this cause. Collaborating closely with the health Mexican system's sexuality campaigns, we aim to amplify our impact and extend our reach, ultimately working toward a fair future for vulnerable girls and women of Los Cabos.

Our Family Planning Program goes beyond simply providing sexual information. We recognize that lasting change requires an approach that addresses not only the physical aspects of sexual health but also the emotional and psychological well-being of our participants. To this end, our program incorporates:

Human Development Classes: We believe in empowering individuals through knowledge. Our group therapy sessions offer a platform for participants to engage in open discussions about their experiences, challenges, and aspirations. Through these sessions, we aim to foster a supportive community where women can learn from each other's journeys.

Emotional Support: We understand the importance of emotional support, especially for those facing adversity. Our program offers a safe space for participants to express their feelings and concerns in individual therapy.
