Thank you for supporting our humanitarian project, Save Yemeni Souls from COVID-19 in Yemen. It is winter, and fevers strike heavily all over Yemen.
Dear Generous Donors,
Fighting fevers in Yemen can be challenging due to several factors, including limited access to basic necessities like clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities, as well as the prevalence of infectious diseases such as malaria, typhoid, and cholera. However, the Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team, with your support, conducted several activities to help people fight fevers in winter. They provided clean water, household objects, hygiene kits, and disinfectants to the most vulnerable people in Sana'a Governorate, Yemen. The Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team also conducted an awareness-raising program for schoolgirls in Bani AlHareth District, Sana'a Governorate about ways of fighting fevers. They also distributed hygiene kits to the schoolgirls in Bani AlHarteth District. They encouraged handwashing with soap and clean water, especially after using the bathroom and before handling food.

We still need to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, reinforce existing health structures, and establish new ones in underserved areas, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.

By addressing the underlying causes of fever and implementing evidence-based interventions, Yemenis can improve their resilience to infectious diseases and reduce the risk of severe illnesses and death.
