Urgent Action Needed: Fighting Cholera in Yemen

We, the Support Yemeni Society Organization, extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment to our humanitarian mission: "FIGHT CHOLERA AND SAVE YEMENI LIVES.

Dear Generous Donors,

Yemen is currently grappling with a severe cholera outbreak, exacerbated by heavy rains and flooding. This crisis has led to widespread water contamination and a surge in infections. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) warns that the number of cases could reach a staggering 255,000 by September 2024 without urgent action.

Dear Generous Donors,

Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to take significant steps to combat this epidemic in the rural areas of Sana'a Governorate:

Community Awareness: We've conducted extensive outreach campaigns to educate the public about cholera symptoms, transmission, and prevention measures.
Targeted Support for Women and Girls: Recognizing their unique vulnerabilities, we've distributed hygiene kits to empower women and girls to protect themselves.
Essential Aid Distribution: We've provided 200 hygiene kits and clean water to the most vulnerable communities in Bani AlHareth District.
