Access to education is a fundamental right, yet orphans and vulnerable students often face numerous nancial and material barriers during their university education. One critical, often overlooked, expense is the cost of printing academic materials, including assignments, research papers, study guides, thesis work, and application forms. These recurring costs can place signicant pressure on students already grappling with socio- economic hardships.
In Namibian high institutions orphans and vulnerable students often face numerous nancial and material barriers during their university education. One critical, often overlooked, expense is the cost of printing academic materials, including assignments, research papers, study guides, thesis work, and application forms. These recurring costs can place signicant pressure on students already grappling with socio- economic hardships.
This project will create a sustainable and equitable support system that meets the printing and documentation needs of orphans and vulnerable students in universities, enabling them to succeed academically without the burden of associated printing costs. It will identify and register orphans and vulnerable students in need of printing support across the Ohangwena region, high institutions.
1. A dedicated printing fund through diverse fundraising strategies. Will be established and maintained. 2. On-campus printing stations or collaborate with existing printing services to provide free/subsidized printing will be set. 3. Awareness among stakeholders and potential donors about the impact of printing costs on vulnerable students. Will be raised and maintained.
