In this program, since the beginning of the confinement, we were working remotely with our music workshops, school support and the Latin American Dance Project. Also, our technical team is in permanent communication so we can recognize the needs of each family and assist them in reaching food aid, documentation and other economic subsidies.
Regarding to the Latin American Dance Project, there are being made weekly meetings through our WhatsApp group where the families are part of. Usually, the teacher in charge sends a video explaining the activity and the instructions to follow. In the workshops, we share experiences about songs and dances of the region, stories about traditions, tales with legends, recipes of traditional food and other transmissions that improve the cultural exchange.
Additionally, it is important to mention that the objective of these activities is towards the generation of space for fun and dispersion for the families. Furthermore, we strengthen bonds between them and we also do an exhaustive follow-up for the families under the program.
Finally, we want to thank all our donors for supporting us so we can keep helping despite all the issues that this global context of the pandemic causes. Fortunately, the generosity does not have any limits, so thank you very much!!!
