The pandemic remote “Dance class project”, is a community encounter in which we offered cultural and educational activities for boys and girls in the Sol Naciente neighborhood, located in Longchamps, province of Buenos Aires. Also, it works as a reference space for families that generates support and contention processes. Our professional team promotes prevention strategies to avoid further perpetuation of children´s vulnerability.
During this atypical year, we made workshops of bio-dance, percussion, native dances, computer games and also, we have worked in conflict prevention. At the beginning of this year, we established protocols and strengthened health and safety measures to protect our members and the community from the virus, to ensure the continuity of workshops.
Furthermore, another project we are carrying out is a vegetable garden. The aim is to develop wholesome food with social and environmental responsibility and promoting the importance of sustainable food. Besides, boys and girls learn how important is to know about the crops and the responsibility they should acquire with the environment.
Doing our work and projects is possible with the collaboration of our donors. Without them, our progress would not be possible. Many thanks!
