At Mensajeros de la Paz, we empower social change through different projects aimed at helping the most vulnerable groups of society: children, women, and the elderly. Messengers of the World, our international volunteer program, seeks to train young social leaders from around the world committed to social change and transformation, stimulating personal growth, empathy, and social consciousness. By engaging in activities and meaningful projects, volunteers are inspired to make a difference.
Volunteering is an opportunity to sensitize individuals to the challenges faced by marginalized and vulnerable populations. We aim to raise awareness about social issues in Argentina, break down stereotypes, and encourage empathy and understanding. By exposing volunteers to different perspectives and realities, we foster compassion, a commitment to social justice, and respect for foreign cultures and traditions. We also promote activities with social impact that benefit vulnerable groups.
We tailor activities to each volunteer's interests, whether it's children's rights, education, gender equality, or elderly protection. Over their 2-month stay, volunteers engage in diverse programs, gaining hands-on experience through direct fieldwork and meaningful interaction with the local population. They also receive resources to develop skills like team building, research, project development, communication, leadership, time management, adaptability, and conflict resolution.
We actively promote ongoing communication with all volunteers even after their stay concludes. This allows us to extend continuous support to the communities we serve. Additionally, we offer a unique opportunity for volunteers to further contribute to the well-being of these communities by sponsoring a project of their choice, strengthening the bond between our organization, volunteers, and the populations we serve. Volunteers also develop skills and gain professional experience for the future.
