The project has not commenced due to the fact that the funds requested have not all been raised, as of today the project has raised $75 out of a project size of $1000. We had planned to work with schools nearest to our secretariat but we have not began as our secretariat was going through some changes which left it understaffed as a result the project suffered.
We plan to start implementing the project, we have recruited a new volunteer and will begin implementing activities in the coming weeks, activitie pictures will be posted on our social media. We have designed safety posters and a SUDEP brochure with support from a technical expert, these materials will also be used in the project to raise awareness to parents of children with epilepsy and school authorities.
Currently we only have soft copies but the plan is to print out the materials so that they can be accessible to all.
