At Amani, we believe supporting the continuing education of our child care team is vital to supporting our children's mental and emotional health. We are about to enroll our house mothers and fathers in courses towards their professional Early Childhood Care degrees. This will equip our staff with comprehensive knowledge on how to provide quality care to the children of Amani. Our matron and patron are due to start their education later this year.
We are also supporting our social welfare officer as he does extra certifications programs in social work. These courses focus on helping children process and heal from trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and strengthen their emotional and social skills. We're so thrilled our staff can participate in these lessons!
