Thanks to the support of “Suma Activos S.A.S.”, we were able to execute the program “Apoyo Escolar” (School Support), benefiting 13 children victims of colombian´s armed conflict.
All of the beneficiaries received basic resources for the development of their academic year, including pens, pencils, notebooks, an atlas, dictionaries and a backpack, were some of the school supplies given to the children.
Besides, working with the ICBF (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar), was executed the Rehabilitation Program, in which we intended to provide medical attention to the beneficiaries. With the support of the institutions Otto Bock, Salud Visual Integral and Orthopraxis, we delivered prosthesis to the children, who due to the war, suffered amputation somewhere in their bodies.
We are doing every effort taking account the importance of our labor in the social inclusion and development of the children, supporting education as a basic need, and building confidence for their personal growth, allowing them to dream big and achieve their goals.
