What If One Opportunity Could Change Her Story?

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

Sometimes the difference between dependence and independence begins with an opportunity.

An opportunity to learn.

An opportunity to earn.

An opportunity to participate.

An opportunity to discover that disability does not erase ability.

Across vulnerable communities, women with disabilities can face barriers that prevent them from participating fully in economic and community life. When poverty and dependence are added to discrimination and exclusion, their vulnerability to gender-based violence can become even greater.

But their stories do not have to end there.

At GoGreen, we believe every woman has potential worth investing in.

Through our Protecting Disabled Women from Gender-Based Violence project, we are working toward communities where women with disabilities can be safer, more confident, better informed about their rights, and supported toward greater economic self-reliance.

Your donation can help turn exclusion into opportunity.

Imagine a woman gaining skills that allow her to earn an income. Imagine the confidence of being able to contribute to her household. Imagine her realizing that she has choices about her future.

That transformation may begin with someone deciding that her potential is worth supporting.

That someone can be you.

Don’t allow disability to hide the possibilities within her.

See the woman. See her abilities. See her dreams. See the future she could build if given a fair opportunity.

Donate today and help another woman begin writing a different story.
