Dear Partners,
Knowledge remains one of the most powerful tools in HIV prevention. Unfortunately, many adolescents in Nigeria still lack access to accurate information about HIV transmission, prevention options, and the importance of early intervention. Misconceptions and stigma continue to create barriers that put young people at unnecessary risk.
At Empower Future Initiative (EFI), we believe that education is the first step toward prevention. As we prepare to implement our Lenacapavir HIV prevention project, we are developing youth-friendly awareness materials and outreach strategies designed to empower adolescents with life-saving information.
Long-acting PrEP represents an exciting advancement in HIV prevention. By reducing the burden of daily medication, Lenacapavir can offer young people a more practical and confidential prevention option. However, awareness is critical to adoption.
Thanks to our early supporters, we are laying the groundwork for a program that combines HIV prevention, youth health education, and community engagement. We invite donors, partners, and advocates to help us expand this effort. Together, we can ensure that more young people have the knowledge and tools they need to protect their health and future.
