In the fight against HIV, timing can make all the difference. Every day that passes without adequate prevention services increases the risk that vulnerable adolescents may be exposed to HIV. Prevention is most effective when communities act before infections occur.
At Empower Future Initiative (EFI), we are preparing for a future where adolescents have access to innovative HIV prevention solutions such as Lenacapavir. Long-acting HIV prevention has the potential to improve adherence, reduce stigma, and offer young people greater protection against HIV.
The urgency of this mission cannot be overstated. Thousands of young people remain vulnerable due to limited access to prevention information and services. While progress is possible, it requires investment from donors who understand the value of prevention.
We are grateful to our supporters who have helped us begin this journey. Their generosity is helping us build awareness and strengthen community readiness.
