We are incredibly grateful to share that our first two donors have stepped forward to support this life-saving project. Your belief in our mission means everything. Because of you, hope is no longer just an idea, it is becoming a reality for at-risk adolescents in Nigeria.
At Empower Future Initiative (EFI), we are preparing to deliver long-acting HIV prevention using Lenacapavir, a breakthrough solution that can protect young people for up to six months with a single injection. This innovation has the potential to transform prevention, especially for adolescents who struggle with daily adherence to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).
But the need is urgent, and far greater than what two donors alone can meet.
Thousands of vulnerable teens are still at risk. Every delay in access to prevention increases the chance of new HIV infections that could have been prevented.
