Dear Partners,
Every HIV infection prevented represents a life changed forever. For many adolescents in Nigeria, HIV remains a daily risk due to poverty, limited access to health information, stigma, and inadequate prevention services. While treatment has improved dramatically over the years, prevention remains the most effective and cost-efficient way to reduce the impact of HIV on individuals, families, and communities.
Our project seeks to introduce long-acting HIV prevention through Lenacapavir, an innovative option that can provide protection for up to six months at a time. This approach has the potential to overcome many of the barriers associated with daily HIV prevention medications, particularly among young people who face challenges with adherence and confidentiality.
We are grateful to the two donors who have already supported this project. Their generosity is helping us move closer to making this vision a reality. However, thousands of at-risk adolescents still need access to modern HIV prevention tools.
Your donation can help us prepare communities, strengthen awareness, and expand access to life-saving prevention services. Together, we can help create a future where fewer young people face the lifelong consequences of HIV infection.
