Dear Partners,
For decades, HIV prevention has relied heavily on behavior change campaigns, testing services, and daily prevention medications. While these approaches have saved millions of lives, challenges remain—especially among adolescents who often struggle with adherence, stigma, and access to youth-friendly services.
Today, innovations such as Lenacapavir are changing what is possible. Long-acting HIV prevention offers a new level of convenience and protection that could transform public health outcomes for vulnerable young people. By reducing the burden of daily medication, this approach has the potential to increase adherence and improve prevention effectiveness.
At Empower Future Initiative (EFI), we are preparing communities to understand and embrace these advances. Through awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and youth-focused education, we hope to ensure that adolescents are not left behind as new prevention technologies emerge.
We are grateful to our supporters who have already joined this mission. Their generosity is helping us prepare for future implementation and expand awareness of innovative HIV prevention solutions.
Your support can help bring the future of HIV prevention closer to the young people who need it most.
